avhifi.co.uk Previously had an Active 3D TV but couldn’t live with the 3D ghosting (crosstalk), flickering, dark picture and my eyes got quickly tired with 3D viewing. I also have health concerns with those flickering Active glasses. Got this Passive LG model and it really is a much better 3D experience. No flickering, brighter picture, very light glasses and, most of all, no ghosting! No tired eyes either and watching the 3D picture it is just so much more enjoyable, the 3D seems to work better possibly because of the brighter image and better colours and of course no distracting ghosting – the image just seems to go deeper and more images pop out of the screen. Although the TV has half the vertical resolution of an active it is rarely noticeable at normal viewing distance (at least on a 42″ TV) – don’t believe the Active TV higher resolution hype. The 2D image quality is great, although SD TV can look rather ropey at times, I’m not sure if it is the image processing or just the TVs detail shows up more problems with the source. HD Sat channels look excellent. Great blacks and good colours. The user interface is quite intuitive and there’s the nice Smart TV thingy that has BBC iPlayer plus an excellent 3D picture MPO viewer for your 3D camera pictures (why on earth don’t all 3D devices support MPO files!!!). Well, not technically since I haven’t done the final touch ups or the play test…. yet alone the fly through. But it’s safe to say that it’s completed!!! The last two rooms are in this part, the music room and rooftop! I was contemplating swapping the music room with the first floors’ lounge room so the lounge could turn into a home theatre, but I can’t remember why I didn’t end up doing that, probably because I really couldn’t be bothered at the time. That said, what I did do with the music room has put it up with the rest of my ‘Favourite Rooms’ list. The aquarium window thing is so damn nice! The dark, sombreness of the room is also very appealing… to me anyway =] I went around the house adding a few final touches here and there and I took the chance to throw in some buydebug stuff like the expensive camera and tent, as well as an awesome hedge sculpture for the entrance to the house. The rooftop was improvised on the spot particularly the pillar and ivy thingy which I think turned out great, however, the rest of the rooftop is pretty bland and average. Hrithik Roshan, these days is busy in renovating his house. Proud father is going great lengths to make sure his kids Hrehaan and Hridhaan get that one subtle and more space. In an effort to make his house ‘homelier’ and more child-friendly, the actor has done away with the gym in his house. The gym is to be relocated on to another floor, which Hrithik is planning to buy. Suzanne, who is a qualified interior designer, is supervising all changes in the Roshan residence. It is learnt that his home theatre room is also transformed. Hrithik Roshan’s DVD rack in the room, now has a lot more children’s movies, a new feature designed especially for his kids and their friends who might drop in to watch a movie. The Roshans own three floors in Al Palazzo and he resides with his family on the eighth floor. The house kitchen is on the tenth floor while Rakesh Roshan, Pinky and sister Sunaina reside on the ninth floor.
